The very last night we spent in #zillertal, was on top of the Pëterskopfl mountain. A 6,4 km challenging hike with a 902 meter elevation gain. A truly wonderful hike that must be undertaken is the moderate hike down the Sommerbergalm. In stead of taking the cable car down, we decided to hike the last part taking advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery in combination with shooting some of the new @asadventure products we were privileged to take along. Next thing I knew, my foot is starring as the new @meindl_shoesforactives advertisement in the latest @asadventure Magazine. Yup, not only just a content creator any longer. Added "foot model" to the resume ✔. Bookings available as of today. 😎🥾

Just before reaching the summit of Petersköpfl mo

Just before reaching the summit of Petersköpfl mountain at a height of 2679 meter, we traversed a plateau filled with piles of stones, the so called “Steinmänner”, literally translated “stonemen”. These stonemen (or more commonly called "cairns") will help you find the way to the summit in case of the trail being covered by snow. ❄

Fun fact: Don’t let them trick you. You will be able to see the Stonemen waaayyy before arriving at the summit, making it look like there’s tons of people standing at the top already. When the sun lits them up and you come closer towards your destination, you will realise they’re not real men, yet cairns as high as humans. Stonemen. Steinmänner. 🗿

Yesterday we got to explore the @spannagel_hoehle,

Yesterday we got to explore the @spannagel_hoehle, a cave system only a couple of meters down the @hintertuxergltescher @natureispalast ice cave we visited last week. We went cave trekking through small crevices and learned all about the limestone rock formations that were formed thousands and thousands of years ago by raging water streams coming from the glacier, slowly creating a natural underground maze that has only been discovered for about 10km. 🪨🗻
